The filter is intended to reduce casual side viewing; it does not stop someone directly in front of the screen from seeing content and is not a substitute for device security settings.
Prepare the display in a clean area, remove dust and follow the tray direction. After installation, test touch response and view the screen from your normal position. Increase brightness only as needed, recognising that privacy glass may use more display brightness than clear glass in some conditions.
Tempered glass helps with scratches and routine contact but cannot guarantee protection from every drop or edge strike. Pair it with a case that does not press against or lift the protector. Replace glass that becomes cracked, chipped or loose.
